Service Description
LittleCakesNL provides custom cake design and baking services. We create handcrafted cakes for various occasions including birthdays, weddings, corporate events, and special celebrations.
Order Process
Our order process consists of the following steps:
- Submit your order request through our website
- We review your request and confirm availability and pricing
- Make advance payment to secure your order
- We prepare your custom cake according to your specifications
- You collect your cake at the agreed pickup location and date
Payment Terms
Payment is required as follows:
- An advance payment is required to confirm your order
- The remaining balance is due before pickup or at the time of pickup
- We accept payments through secure online payment methods
Order Modifications and Changes
We understand that sometimes you may need to make changes to your order. Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to modify your order.
Changes to orders must be requested at least 1 week before the scheduled pickup date. Changes requested after this deadline may not be possible or may incur additional charges. Once production has begun, changes may not be possible.
Cancellation and Refunds
You may cancel your order up to 1 week before the scheduled pickup date.
Cancellations made within this timeframe will receive a full refund of the advance payment. Cancellations made less than 1 week before pickup may be subject to partial refund at our discretion.
Allergen Information and Dietary Disclaimers
Our products may contain or come into contact with common allergens including but not limited to: milk, eggs, wheat, soy, nuts, and other allergens. We use shared equipment and facilities where cross-contamination may occur.
Even if a product is made without a specific allergen, we cannot guarantee that it is completely free from traces of that allergen due to the risk of cross-contamination in our kitchen.
If you or anyone consuming our products has food allergies or dietary restrictions, please inform us when placing your order. Customers with severe allergies assume the risk of consumption. We are not liable for allergic reactions unless proven negligence on our part.
Product Safety and Handling
To ensure the safety and quality of our products, please follow these guidelines:
- Some decorations may be non-edible (such as dowels in tiered cakes, decorative elements, or cake toppers). Please remove these before serving.
- Store cakes in a cool, dry place. Refrigerate if the cake contains perishable fillings. Consume within the recommended timeframe for best quality.
- Handle cakes with care during transport. Keep cakes level and avoid extreme temperatures. We are not responsible for damage that occurs after the product leaves our premises.
- Our products are made fresh to order. Shelf life varies by product type. For best quality, consume cakes within 2-3 days of pickup.
Pickup and Delivery
Orders must be picked up at the agreed location and time. If you are unable to pick up your order at the scheduled time, please contact us as soon as possible to arrange an alternative time.
Once the product is collected from our premises, responsibility for the product transfers to the customer. We are not liable for any damage, spoilage, or issues that occur after pickup. Uncollected orders may be disposed of after 48 hours, and no refund will be provided.
Pricing Errors and Typographical Mistakes
We strive to ensure accurate pricing on our website. However, errors may occur. We reserve the right to correct any pricing errors, even after an order has been placed. If a pricing error is discovered, we will contact you to confirm the correct price or cancel the order and provide a full refund.
Force Majeure
We are not liable for any failure or delay in performance under these terms which is due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, war, terrorism, labor disputes, or other events of force majeure. In such cases, we will work with you to find a reasonable solution.
Liability Limitations
LittleCakesNL is not liable for any damages resulting from delays, cancellations, or issues beyond our reasonable control. We are committed to providing quality products and will work to resolve any issues that arise.
Intellectual Property
All designs, images, and content on our website are the property of LittleCakesNL and are protected by copyright laws. You may not reproduce or use our designs without permission.
Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by Dutch law. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Netherlands.
